Tomika L. Baker

Tomika is a true Floridian-born and raised by her parents in union Tommy Lee Baker, Sr. and Helenenor A. Baker. She is one of three children from her mother and has two children of her own (Zamar and Myracle Baker). Tomika was always fascinated with the medical field and even criminology. After graduating from Hillsborough High School in 2002, she enrolled in Hillsborough Community College to further her education and gain more interest in Criminal Justice. A few years later, she found further interest in the medical field and decided to attend Brewster Technical College, where she obtained her Patient Care Technician Certification. Shortly after that, she obtained her Medical Billing and Coding Certification from Sanford Brown Institute. Tomika has over 10 years of experience in the medical field and she is always looking forward to being caring and compassionate to anyone-especially a total stranger. Her love for the nursing world is what currently have her securing her RN degree in Nursing. Tomika took an interest in becoming one of Tommy’s Angels when her father was first diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. From that day forward, she was always there. From taking him to his first chemo treatment down to his last, she was there being the angel he knew she was. Her sister Ebony, CEO of Tommy’s Angels Foundation, had several discussions to discuss their goals and achieving this foundation. The launch of Tommy’s Foundation was founded on the life and legacy of our late father “Tommy Lee Baker Sr.” and we will always live by this motto: “Because we CARE, and Angel will ALWAYS be there”. Tomika looks forward with providing care and being a companion to cancer patients.
